Jayanti is located at the foothill of eastern Himalayan belt along the Jayanti river. It is a small villiage having picturesque sights and often known as “Queen of Dooars”. Popular treking to the visitors of 13 km. from Buxaduar to Jayanti through dense forest is wonderful. Mahakal cave in Jayanti hill where annual hindu festival organized at time of Maha Shivratri is a must visit place for the Pilgrims. A short Trek to Pokhri Hills is the main attractions here for tourist.
